First day at school

I have Internet Access at my dormitory now!

This morning my first task was to assist a teacher to pick up an other exchange participant. So we drove to Guangyuan and met him at the railway station. He is also from Germany, so there have been no communication issues.

Then we showed him the school and held our very first lesson. This was a rather big success. The students were very excited about us and the way we taught.

At night we were invited for dinner by our principal. It was a very big meal where we enjoyed Huo Guo with other teachers and headmasters from the region. The Chinese are very friendly to strangers and as a result everyone welcomed us individually, which means we had to drink with them a shot of alcohol ^^
